Polaris Intermodal’s Founder, President, and Chief Operating Officer, Alfred (Al) Iannelli is responsible for leadership, strategy, and business development. 

A transportation and logistics industry veteran, Al has held various executive and management positions during his 40-year industry career. Prior to establishing Polaris Intermodal, Al served 19 years as Executive Vice President for H&M International and he was President of PTL Intermodal, a wholly owned subsidiary of Conrail from 1990 to 1994.  During his career, he’s held a variety of management positions including Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Currently Polaris Intermodal works within the Evans Network of Companies and at this time Polaris Intermodal is currently one of the top ten volume producers within the Evans network. Notably, Al and his team achieved this level of success in just 4 years.

 

Al has served on the boards of the New York Traffic Club, the World Trade Association of Philadelphia, the Traffic Club of Philadelphia and he currently holds memberships with the Propeller Club of Baltimore, the Intermodal Association of Chicago and the Traffic Club of Philadelphia. In 2011 Al received their Man of the Year Award.  That event marked a turning point in Al’s career. In accepting the award, he acknowledged that “Selling is Serving” and that it is your team; your people and your drivers that make it possible for you to serve your customers and connect face to face to build lasting business relationships. We see our customers as our partners and have a vested interest in their achieving their supply chain objectives.

Chris has been acting CFO of Polaris Intermodal since 2014. 

He prides himself on his ability to be a dynamic and results-driven business owner, who has seen much success at leading high-performing teams through all phases of project management, from concept to construction. Chris has facilitated numerous real estate development projects in Sea Isle City, NJ including Diamond Plaza Condominiums, Sandcastle Square Condominiums, The Dunes, The Cove, and The Cape.  In addition to his real estate development projects, Chris currently holds ownership of other Sea Isle City-based businesses, The Dunes, The Cove, The Cape, Diamond Liquors LLC, MGR Liquors, and Polaris Intermodal. 

 

Chris currently holds a real estate broker license and resides as the President of Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce.

CHRISTOPHER GLANCEY

A transportation and logistics industry veteran, Joe has held various sales, marketing and domestic and international logistics management positions during his 40-year industry career. Prior to Polaris Intermodal, Joe has had positions as a regional and international sales executive with several regional and national intermodal logistics companies that provide many domestic and international transportation services including rail, drayage and over the road trucking. During his career, he’s held a variety of management positions including Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Regional Director and National Account Executive.

 

Joe is a Past President of The World Trade Association of Philadelphia and the Traffic Club of Philadelphia and served on the board of the Women’s International Trade Association.  He currently holds memberships in the Ports of Philadelphia Maritime Society, Traffic Club of Philadelphia and the New York Traffic Club.
